The guy has a lot of Ron Paul domains, and even registered the official 2008 campaign domain after it was allowed to expire. He points all of them to ronpaul.com, which he bought on ebay for $25,000. It's partly a news site, but he does sell Ron Paul t-shirts and stuff from it. Paul is going to use the domain to host some kind of a media site and earn some internet monies with one of his sons, since he retired from public office.
The guy was originally asking $848,000 for the domain, but after a bit of contact by some members of the Paul family, quickly went down to $250,000 and offered to throw in ronpaul.org for free. They may have made a counteroffer of $50,000, but has now gone into arbitration via WIPO over both of the domains.
Now he's being all dramatic about it on his site, saying RP is trying to go through the UN to get the domain. Surely he knew this day would come.
