Ron Paul preparing to endorse Mitt Romney

Well I guess we might as well start planning for lukep's moving away party...

Not a surprise at all. The repubs told Rand to get in line or his political career would be over, so he endorses romney. Then they tell Ron that if he tries to fuck with the convention, Rands political career is over. Guess what happens next?

Hint: Rhymes with "on Paul Sells Out"

Did you seriously just reg that domain to drop a dickroll in this thread? Fucker. I haven't clicked a DR in well over a year. Well played.

Is Ron Paul (maybe) getting ready to endorse Mitt Romney? - CSMonitor.com

Congressman Paul’s campaign website in recent days has posted several pieces that discuss political endorsements in a somewhat defensive manner. In one, campaign blogger Jack Hunter talks about libertarian founding father Murray Rothbard’s 1992 endorsement of President George H. W. Bush.

Rothbard’s libertarian principles did not evaporate because of the “mere act of endorsing,” writes Hunter.

As to the current Paul campaign, “any endorsements made or not made are done with our movement’s goals and efforts within the GOP in mind, whether some understand this or not,” according to Hunter.

I'll say this publicly and you have my fucking word -

If Ron Paul wins the election, I will find the BIGGEST anal plug I can afford online and shove it up my ass. No lube.

actually, looks like the opposite of the endorsement is about to happen and things are about to get really interesting.

why is that? links or proof? or just another delusion from the ron paul alternate reality that has been constructed?

Can't lie.. I'd be fucking sad about it. But I'm not going to be all pissed off at RP.. he still fought for the constitution for a SOLID 30 years. Done more than anyone else. It became obvious he wouldn't win, and he's making the strategic move that he believes is the best long term option. Passing the baton to Rand. I disagree with it, but Paul is old... he's already said that he would retire if he didn't win. Well, he's retiring.

I don't think we can ask much more of him. He did his part.
Still, a sad day though if this is true.

Smear job, plain and simple.

This kind of libel works because not everyone knows that Paul has spent 30+ years voting in the most unpopular possible way.

Worse though is that most people will be stupid enough to NOT remember when Paul actually doesn't do so... In 2 or 4 years they'll just remember this negative ding the news told them about, not the fact that it was proven a lie.

Such is the state of our media.

^D'oh! why'd you have to spill that one P?

I was keeping it for a surprise...

As long as the cat's out of the bag, it should be known that there are now another 40 Delegate Plaintiffs, for a total of 163, which is a number of Delegates far larger than the MSM even admits that Paul has. (Just delegates that are a part of the lawsuit, which could be a very small percentage of all delegates we have.) The Official case was filed on Monday, and the Lawyers for Paul are 100% sure that there will be a JUDGEMENT BEFORE the RNC... Not afterwards!

;)

lol @ the source being Christian Science Monitor.

The Christian Science Monitor has one of the best, if not the best, reputations in the journalism world.

"I had a journalism professor who required students to subscribe to the Christian Science Monitor for the semester. As a heathen, I was slightly offended. Add the word “christian” to anything and I’ll pull out my best ACLU rhetoric about separation of church and state, freedom from religion, blah, blah and blah.

Well, color me surprised..."
