Prepare yourself Yankees.

As of next month, I shall invade the United States of America. I have time to spend in Texas, Cali, Las Vegas and New York. 3 weeks total.

Would the gentlemen be so kind as to suggest how not to get shot by police? And also what to see and possible excursions in this once great country of the free?

Help us out, this is a big place. If you tell us where you are going to be and what your interests are you'd get information that might be useful. But you never know on WF.

although chicago is cold as fck right now it's a pretty cool place to visit.

I'd extend your time at one of the other destinations rather than bother with Texas, unless it's the little area around the gulf.

Aren't you russian? You'll love Brighton Beach NY. I hate NY as much as TX though.

Austin is a pretty cool city, always lots going on. What kind of entertainment are you looking for? Do you want to explore the geography of the area, do you like to wine and dine, ? Craft beer, cocktail bars, live music, laser tag, and massive amounts of young college tail. Gotta give us some more info

No one fuck with you my friend

Yes. See below.

Let me know when you're in Austin, we can go spend 5 hours waiting in line for Franklin's BBQ and read over the entire McGrunt thread

(no homo)

Sounds like a swell time.

California - OK, I can see that.
New York - Sure, why not.
Las Vegas - OK.

Texas?? Is this a forced itinerary?

Yes, Houston is the only place I have to be for biz. Going to meet a classmate from way back in Austin also.

Yes to all above, which is I like doing outdoor stuff, wine and dine, craft beer, cocktail lounges, young college tail.

I'd also like to shoot some guns seriously. An AK47 would be awesome. Srs here, I want to indulge in American ultra violence and sing land of the free home of the brave while I make holes in a cardboard Obama.

On the other hand, I have zero interest in getting a picture of the Hollywood sign or taking a tour through celebrity housing or visiting other done to death tourist spots.

I'd like to go to the beach. Some sort of water sports or sailing/fishing would also be awesome. Yosemite seems cool, but unsure of what exactly you do there. It looks very pretty, but is it just hiking or what?

I am also somewhat of a degenerate, though not as much as some years back. That is, poker, whisky and sloots. I think Las Vegas can provide that.

Other than that, I like to just hang around and get a feel of a place. What it is like to live a place, go to local bars, eat the local places, go to a conference or meetup in AM or other online stuff.

Now that is probably something to go off?

Yosemite is one of the most beautiful places I've been, recommend it. We just hiked a few trails and enjoyed nature. Not sure whether it's worth doing at this time of year though as the snow might not have melted from the trails?

If you're in Vegas and want to shoot I went to: Discount Firearms and Ammo | The Vegas Machine Gun Experience They have 'packages' on the website. We didn't book anything and just rocked up and had a plink with an AR-15 and 9mm which was about $100 for two magazines of each. (Actually not bad value considering we're used to centrefire rounds costing typically 50p-£1 each over here.) They had everything there - pistols, SMGs, assault rifles - I even saw a Browning machine gun.

Yeah, yosemite is mostly hiking and spectacular scenery, half dome (need permit far in advance, summer only), taft point is cool, sequoias are cool, glacier point, water falls, etc. You can ride horses, bikes, climbing. Driving up the coast is cool if you like that type of thing. I like San Francisco, drive or walk the golden gate, alcatraz, food, etc.

Shooting, yeah, Vegas.
