The first thing everyone does when they get a mac is go download firefox/camino. Why would I run that p.o.s on my windows machine. I don't even care what my site looks like in safari.

/rant.

Safari isn't a POS, it's actually a pretty good browser. People who are developers or have used FireFox on their PC might go download Firefox but most people who buy a mac just use safari since they don't care about all of the plugins etc.

I still don't see how people can claim to not care what their website looks like in such and such browser, especially the one that ships with a major OS.

I care what my sites look like in Safari.

But I'd never actually use it. Or a mac. Flame away, but Macs really are freaking awful.

But this is useful as I don't have to ask to use someone else's Mac just to check out my sites. I got rid of an otherwise worthless iBook a few months ago because that's all I used it for.

Safari is excellent browser and the only thing that still keeps me using Firefox is extensions. Firefox still sucks ass in my opinion.

I am with geekcog on this one. I use windows and it is exactly what i need.

great addition for developrs on PC's who don't want to always resort to an online tool rep++

I tried safari and didnt like it much.
Its FF all the way, atleast for me ;)
