I understand that new websites or domains frequently get caught in the sandbox shortly after creation. Anyone have any tips to avoid this problem?

Thanks

mine was seemingly sandboxed (one site), 100 social bookmarks from red virus (search) later and there I was ranked 5'th for my main term.

So my way of avoiding in the future is to have that guy work his magic on every phpbay site I launch.

note* no affiliation w/ him just one of many happy customers

Aged domain as nacho said. Check out tdnam.com closeouts section. One of my favorites as they don't get dropped. They get pushed to you with their age :)

So you think you should have him do it before your sandboxed or after or do you think it doesn't matter?

I've created many phpbay sites and had them social bookmarked by red_virus. I started creating sites about 2 months ago and some have recently been sandboxed. I don't think it has anything to do with his service at all, I just think that you need to continually link build instead of starting out with 100 and then getting 0 new links for the next 2 months.

Thats why you do 40 and not 100. :) 40 + splog blinks auto = win.

300 uniques per day - per blog - and rising by 10-15 daily. :)

exact same thing happened to me... was just too busy to continue the link building but will have to get back to it ASAP.

can you go into any more detail on your setup? i know how splogs work but i've never set one up before. im assuming you are using splogs on a different hosting account than your phpbay sites?
