Scaling Paradox

Imagine you have a concept (or call it business model) to make $ out of thin air online (SEO/auto-blogs-in-2008, mailing, as examples).
I met a lot of people who had god-like concepts, and when I found out that they actually made little money I was shocked sometimes.

I claim that a 3rd party would be faster to build up a complete new business then you would scale your current one.
Given that you give ALL your knowledge and know-how to a 3rd party who has general computer skills just like you but is not familiar with your business.
(Example: you earn $10000 per month, I claim the third party would be faster to earn $5000 then you would be to scale up to $15000).

Did anyone try to clone his own business from scratch?
I think doing so could neglect all psychological burdens that hold you back from scaling your business.

wut?

Try again in readable English? What are you even asking?

It's not a paradox, cloning is a part of scaling. First you design a campaign, then you optimize and then you copy the whole thing.

I know, right? This guy is the enlightened AMA mailer who's apparently "inboxing" all over the place. Seeing as he can barely string three words together, his claims strain credibility well beyond the elastic limit.

LOL I admit I wrote some B/S. French is my native language.
But I think it should still be possible to understand from context what I was talking about, unless you don't understand the topic at all maybe.

Hmm, I think the example is not perfect since in case of a PPC campaign (which I guess you were talking about) you are limited by the terms of your platform (i.e. you cannot have multiple adwords accounts bidding on the same term).

Yes, I was a bit of a dick, mostly because you were so evasive when answering my questions. Now I see that you were only a little evasive, and made to seem more so because you are so inarticulate. So I'm less annoyed with you now.

You obviously have some knowledge of mailing, but only a very limited sort of knowledge. The data you work with is absolute shit, and you've found ways to clean it up, identify the promising leads, and spam the shit out of them with out-of-the-box affiliate offers. You even remark in the other thread that you never write your own copy. You simply use what the network provides and split test it. Well, good for you. There is a certain amount of skill to what you do, and there are certainly people on this forum who can benefit from your knowledge, if they can take the time to decipher your vague pronouncements. But it isn't what I'm looking for, and I find your way of writing/speaking to be tremendously irritating.

There's one other reason I was a dick in your thread: you posted it in the Enlightened Members section, which is supposed to be reserved for the best content of this forum. You joined in August then declared yourself a mailing expert. This rubbed me the wrong way. It STILL rubs me the wrong way.

So yeah, I was a dick. But I had my reasons. There's a lot of bullshit on this forum, and it should be met with contempt and ridicule by reasonable people. Usually, I leave that to other members, but you happened to catch me on a day when I actually wanted to learn about mailing, and then proceeded not to answer my questions or offer me anything of value. To be fair, you finally did answer one of my questions by PM, but the answer was so disappointing that it did little to mitigate my annoyance.

So carry on, I guess. And please don't mistake what I wrote above for an apology.
