I took my GT in for servicing last week and when I got it back, the remote was busted. There was a scratch on the side and these fucks obviously dropped it, but they actually denied it and tried to say it was already like that. You can't even use it now. I called Maserati HQ and reported it to them, told them the dealership was scamming customers, being extremely rude, and the techs were incompetent and actually broke more shit than they fixed. HQ said they'd send a rep to the dealership to investigate, although I bet that's just a formality and nothing will happen.
I posted some negative reviews about them on the owners forum and apparently these guys have scammed tons of people, breaking stuff in cars that they're supposed to be fixing and just being incompetent in general. Literally every single person on the forum who has been to this dealership hates them; unfortunately I didn't ask about it before going to them because I falsely assumed that people who work on Ferraris for a living would actually have some knowledge about cars.
I left some more negative reviews of them on their google listing and my goal is to get them down to a 1 star rating so hopefully nobody else gets scammed by these guys. Obviously if I had broken the remote myself I'd have no problem buying a new one but there's no way I'm handing over $400 (cost of a new remote) to this huge scam of a dealership. Seriously I get better service when I pull up to McDonald's to buy a milkshake because at least if they fuck it up they don't ask me to pay them extra to fix it. Has anyone experienced anything like this with a local dealership and how did you solve it?
