I've read Dilbert every day for years. It's good for chuckles, but Scott Adams's best stuff is found on his blog and the occasional essays he writes. He's witty, a libertarian, loves economics, and most importantly (at least for the context of this thread), has a wealth of great ideas. Most times, he frames those ideas as prognostications.
Here's an example:
Scott Adams on Taxes, the Wealthy and a Return to the Ocean - WSJ.com
It's a good piece with chuckles throughout (if you've read his essays, you'll know what I mean). He even takes a friendly poke at Ron Paul. The stuff Adams says could/will happen is exciting to think about.
I thought a few of you might enjoy it.
