Seasons and traffic

i aim to build lots of site - but i aim to build quite a few aimed at seasonal trend - ie a warm clothes type site for winter and shorts and sun cream site for summer - so i can keep my aff income balanced over the year - do you research this much ?

Interesting point you made Julez, I haven't done enough affilliate marketing to comment however I think your idea is a great, but I would probably have a site that generates consistent income even if it the income was a little lower. Then the seasonal affs act as the top ups.

i aim to have several all year round sites - but then make a few just to cash in on different times of the year like holidays/ mothers day/ xmas /summer ect ect

Its a workable business model, as there are quite a few shops (and affiliates) that run along the same lines. It would be interesting to have quite a few sites focusing on different seasons, as you would only have to focus on less sites at a time.
