That's called "scalping" and it's illegal.

You wanna know whats fucking halarious in Edmonton (Canada), people were getting in shit because they would get to ticketmaster early buy some tickets and sell them on ebay just before the show to local edmonton people, meet up with them get paid and leave right.

Thats illigal and considered scalping because our law states that its legal to sell the tickets you bought but you cannot sell them for more then you paid for them anyway what people started to do was include a mcdonalds coupon or meal and then they would charge the legal amount for the ticket and like $1000 bucks for the Mcdonalds meal that goes with it....technically still scalping but apparently not illegal.

But anyway this could be an interesting market but I've already got lots going so you can count me out for competition.

this has been going on since forever on ebay, nothing new.

When I was younger some of the synthetic drugs were not yet illegal (X was the big one at the time), but clubs did not want to get in trouble for selling drugs that were quasi-legal.

So what they did was sell you a pencil for $25 and attached to the pencil was this little bag with a pill in it. As far as I know it was totally legal at the time. Strange thing to see some drunk guy tell the bartender "Hey Give me a Pencil" and then to have the bartender actually sell the guy a pencil....

Websites like TicketBrokerages.com - Become a Ticket Broker Scalp Tickets Online Through eBay Craigs List sell a ticket business package on how to buy tickets for face and sell them for above face. Selling on CL in my opinion is the best way to do it. I have a friend that gets 0% credit cards, buys up tons and tons of tickets, then takes the 30K a month hes spending on seats, puts it into a 5% money market, and pays the monthly mins. Then after a year, he cancels the card and pays the full amount. He's an idiot and not making that much, but he does alright on the ticket sales. He has been using Stub Hub, eBay, and CL. CL is the best, but takes a while because of flaggers. If you want to get good seats, bookmark the event onsale page, then after it goes offsale, you will have the purchasing page saved. Usually a week or so before the event, the venue will release premium seats. Public won't have access, but you will; because you saved the bookmark of the onsale page! Little tip for anyone who wants to try and make money doing this. I was literally one of the first few people to ever sell tickets on eBay. It was sick while it lasted.
