I'm looking at making a few $$ in the near future by cold-calling companies and asking if they want SEO done. The problem is that I am a complete black-hatter. What different things could I do to make my services appear fine but keep the awesomeness of blackhat? Web2.0's are one option.

Another option possibly is to do blackhat to a domain that I have built and then redirect?

Thanks.

You can never be a complete blackhatter if you don't know the essentials of white hat. So, belive me that you are first a whitehatter and then a blackhatter.

Anyway, it depends on what are you thinking to do. Anyone uses a little blackhat, even bigger companies. But it must be moral.

You need to brush up on the whitehat stuff OP. I agree with Timex20, one needs the other. In order to find an exploit, you need the foundation and that is WH SEO and linkbuilding. Once you have that established for your clients, you can toss in BH techniques here and there.

Hi there,

Yeah if you are going to the troubles of trying to establish yourself as a business somewhat and cold calling people and doing whatever to get your customers you should really put in the time to make your business 1 that people are going to not only come back to but also recommend to others.

If you are not telling your clients that you are using black hat methods and then they find out they may not be best pleased.

How black hat are you talking?

I use software for the majority of my link building for myself and my clients but I make sure I am always submitting quality content to directories I use making people not only want to read my articles but click the links also.

My customers are always happy as they are getting better rankings and more clicks through my content.

I'm fine with doing a bit of whitehat here and there but mainly to cover any tracks. I personally believe that whitehat is fine for people who have the money but for those trying to cut the costs, this is where blackhat really becomes much more powerful. I'm just looking for suggestions to hide my blackhat stuff.

Would a 301 re-direct from a website that I have built authority for work?

I will make sure the first tier is quality, after that, who knows.

Actually you're right, it's probably more greyhat. Would you recommend doing a 301 from another domain that I have built up?
