For those who don't know you can't post clickable links with yahoo level 1 accounts, only level 2. There are a variety of ways for you to promote yourself using different methods. You can either look for questions to drop affiliate links (be careful with this one) but always give a decent answer first.
It is also possible to build yourself a reputation in a niche that you have a website about. Answer questions related to your niche and put your site in the source box. It's a great way to drive traffic to your site.
You can also post your own keyword targeted questions and answer them yourself with whatever affiliate link/website url of your choice. Ping it and bookmark it and usually in less than half an hour the question is already indexed.
