Sending affiliate traffic to squeeze page

Got a noobie question to ask, so please bear with me.

There's this product which I want to promote, but the traffic is directed to a squeeze page. If the visitor buys by clicking the links from the subsequent autoresponder emails, will I still get credit for it?

Ask. I would think that the process MAY work like:
PPC to squeeze page
Cookie set
Signs up on squeeze page
Next day the email comes, possibly with just a link to the landing page again.
Clicks on link in email.
Lands on page, cookie is still set.

You get credit.

Many places this could fail... Be careful!
