I have a domain that I wanted to try something out with by using BANS.

I want to set up about 50-60 subdomains, each with their own BANS store. There will only be a word or two different in each install, but each completed store is considerably different than the generic BANS installation.

Is there a faster way to put that together than going through the process of making pages over and over again by hand? Easy way to maybe copy the database from a previous, completed installation and switch a few things around and pop that sucker into the new subdomain?

Lots of good ways to do this, but I'm not using BANS so take this for what it's worth. (I'm phpbay/mcjiffy) I'd think you can simply pull an export of the DB (from phpmyadmin) and use that SQL as your staging DB edition. The files themselves are easy to copy via script if you have local access to the box.

Stupid simple idea here, but throw the exported SQL into a Word mail merge document. Get a spreadsheet of your changed words, then merge the fields in with the SQL export. Save the output as TXT and upload back through phpmyadmin.
