Someone at techchrunch got fired because he was spending a lot of time on that site.

Some big clients(with high morale) for the Huffington Post visited the office(same office) and he was browsing.

His excuse is that it was for work. lol.
 
8 months before the site goes down and the domain gets sold again for $2 million
 
Pintrest is for women, The idea of a pinboard or scrapbook is something that only women and gay webmasters would use.

Sex.com seems to be full of straight porn... did I miss something?
 
Lol they seem desperate for attention! All they've been doing is tweeting celebrities to the likes of @tiesto, @snoopdogg, @iamwill etc. and retweeting sites like TMZ!

Honestly speaking, it appears that a bunch of juveniles are handling their twitter account.

yeah that shit is just a TGP on steroids. seems like that domain has been plagued forever with no direction/strategy. I actually spoke on the phone with the then-sex.com owner Gary Kremen at least 10 years ago about design work or something, dude talked a mile a minute. but yeah, he sold it for $15 million in 2006, then sold sex.net for $454,500 the same year.
 
Submitted a few pics and have been getting some ok traffic coming in. It's probably a good idea that they nofollowed the links. The spammers are already abusing it as it is.

I presume the owner has applied smart tactics here.

1 - Take an upcoming Social site
2 - Copy it on your extra-premium adult domain
3 - It goes viral. News/Tech sites erupt with posts about it.
4 - ????
5 - Profit?
