I knew this contest had the ability to become interesting. I thought some of you would have made your own “Shitmonkey” logo and post it. But it appears you were too busy trying to figure out what to run on facebook.
So the little investigative journalist in me took a look at this “contest”. Since I never touched FB ads, being a lazy procrastinator and all.
It appears someone called mattblancarte won the contest posted in the other thread.

They entered 1 contest and won it. 1 Entry ever. Nothing before, and nothing since. A-fucking-mazing luck for a 99design person. Most win 1 in 20 to 1 in 100.

If you have spent a few years gaming shit on the internet you know that ain’t right. So I just google “mattblancharte”.
That alias is everywhere and it all points to one guy. This guy:
• Name Matthew Blancarte
• Location iPhone: 33.107300,-117.104688
• Web http://www.uniqueblogdesigns.scam
• Bio Co-Founder - Unique Blog Designs / Gearhead
Who as you may know made the fucking theme Shitmonkey (and John Chow) uses, is a friend of him, and probably could or would just email him a logo if he asked. Hopefully better than that one that one. The strange thing is that the winner with that graph going up was uploaded and is live now.
So what the hell was this?
1) A ploy to try to hype the shoemoneytools to the people on 99designs?
2) A test of a viral thing to people who probably are using a pirated version of Photoshop and that is their main interest not IM?
3) Just some way for the Shoemoney people and the UBD people to have fun and fuck with people?
4) Proof that iPhone owners are scamming, shill bidding, wannabees? JK
