Is anybody finding that having a shorter free trial period (14 vs 30days) on the resV offers is really making a difference in conversions? If you had to choose between a shorter trial period, or a higher re-bill cost, which do you think would hurt conversions more? I think I would take this trade off for a higher CPA at this point...

Well you could look at this in two ways. Figure the consumer if their smart pays attention to the rebill aspect of the thing and might be more apt to staying on longer and using more of the trial and cancelling if the rebill is super high compared to a consumer that is faced with a lower cost rebill and shorter trial period where they can justify the rebill and continue using the product.

then you have the consumer that looks at a lower cost rebill as an inferior product due to its lower cost and may go to the higher rebill cost. Best thing to do as everyone on this board says is to split test between the two trial periods/rebill costs.

I've seen from past experience that shorter trial period does better...but then again it is all dependent on the offer.
