I'm kinda being cheap right now and would like to know if any of you guys do this. Instead of buying a domain for each offer can I use a generic domain and create subs for each offer? Or should I just not be such a cheap skate.
I'am the say way very froogle with my $$$. Even if the expense of getting a domain name is not a monthly fee but, yearly in can start to add up. Not sure what your plans are but, you can always use other extension besides .com such as .info, .org, .us etc and will always be cheaper and more affordable on your wallet. I believe godaddy is running some specials at the moment or do a search

I have been reliably informed that google doesn't care about subdomains vs domains. So barmaidswithoutbars.eatdicks.com _should_ rank as well as barmaidswithoutbars.com .
I think the differences would be masked by the fact that your promos, landing page and products will give more variances than the subdomain versus domain.
If you are really strapped for cash, you could do some initial testing using a subdomain and then get a keyword rich domain if it looks like the campaign is going to be profitable.
