so my roommate was scheduled to move his stuff up to our new apt today. when the movers went to the storage unit to pick up his stuff - everything valuable was stolen. his bedframe, a computer, television, huge leather couch, huge chair, and a couple of boxes of shit (including basically all of the books he owns). he filed a police report and an insurance claim, so it would be cool if insurance covers him - and even more cool if they found the furniture or the people who stole it - but we think essentially he's screwed.
anyway - the point i am trying to make is his furniture was going to be the main furniture for the apartment - couches, etc. so now we have no furniture and need to pick out some new shit.
last time there was a thread about peoples houses, there were a couple of people who had really good taste in furniture and whatnot - so i was hoping i could get some of you good fellows to post pictures of your cool stuff, or any other cool furniture that you are fans of so i can get ideas for what to buy.
anyway, i don't have any furniture at the moment, but take a look at a cool platform bed - when i decide to own a house i will be acquiring one of these:
