single product VS top X products

so guys I'm doing a site to promote a niche and I thought to put there a chart of the top 5 or 10 of these products all linked to the respective affiliate offers
would you suggest me to go this way or to make a full article about a single product as jon says in his "let's make money" post?
what about your past experiences? which converted best for you?
 


Yeah i would definitely do a split test for this, with almost everything it really depends on your niche. Actually this would make an awesome article or blog post.
 
So basically either something like all those "top ten hosting things" or a hostgator review?

I have a friend who had one of those top ten sites and he made a couple hundred bucks on it, but he has no idea what he's doing. Definitely worth looking into I think..

But if both techniques would work for you, definitely split test as everyone said. :)
