No it's not, CTR = Click Thru Rate, simply the number of impressions against the number of clicks... ie: it's an Affiliate Marketing thing, not programming.
I am not talking about CTR's math here, I know what you are talking about. It is coding or programming to capture and save this data for page impression, ad clicks, real IP etc.... To capture all this either you need porgramming or some readymade solution.
Well your original post did not make that clear, you said you had clients asking for reports, assuming perhaps asking for the data from you.
If you're asking bout tracking and clicks, well simply the image you load for the banner (or an invisible pixel) would be one method to track 'impressions', And a click would be registered when the redirect url gets hit (the url from the banner). So would just update the database with this.
