SLAYER goes to church



Holy crap, that was awesome! Seen them dozens of times live, and I've got tickets to see them on the 26th of this month, can't wait. RIB is easily the best album ever made.

Saw Slayer in '91 at the Clash of the Titans concert here in Omaha. Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer and Alice in Chains opened. Alice in Chains got booed off stage and shit thrown at them. They were relatively unknown at the time.

The mosh pits for Slayer were absolutely brutal. Saw some guy get thrown up in the air 10 feet over the crowd. Was insane.

Last time I saw Slayer was last October. Wasn't expecting a whole lot, thought they'd be tired old men by now... I of my weak faith, put to shame. Only went because my girlfriend convinced me, damn glad she did..

funny re Alice In Chains. I saw them play with Suicidal Tendencies and all the Suicidal fans tried to boo them off also. Actually Layne Stanley jumped in the croud to punch a friend of mine who was spitting at him.. He said Layne just weakly 'slapped' him in the stomach and then the security dragged him back on stage...

Alice In Chains with the new singer is actually pretty good too. another surprise reprise.

Can't wait to see them again in August with Megadeth and Testament.

Saw the '91 Clash of the Titans tour too with Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax & Alice in Chains. Fell down drunk in the pit for Alice in Chains, luckily it wasn't while Slayer was playing or that could have been it! To think of all the stupid Internet shit I would have missed if my time had come in 1991. ;-)

I saw Slayer when they opened up for Judas Priest in the 80s... and saw them again recently at Ozzfest.

I'm still holding onto a Slayer ticket for a show they just canceled in Seattle with Megadeth.

I saw Slayer in 91 too. Was an amazing show.
