I used to use sharex but moved away about a year ago because I got sick of constantly having to deal with their buggy pos software.

Screenshot Captor is the one I have used for years. It is free with no ads. Its simple to use and has all the functionality you need.
"Awesome Screenshot" for Chrome is handy for me. I've experienced similar issues with Snagit and scrolling pages.
Screen Capture for chrome. 1 click = Full screen, visible screen, scrolled screen. Saves as a jpeg or any format you want on your desktop. Doesn't include chrome nav bar or windows stuff either.
Okay, this is much better than Jing. Thanks for the recommendation. I like the ability to be able to take a screenshot and simply press CTRL + V to embed it on a forum or wherever.
ShareX - Take screenshots, Annotate, Upload and share URL in clipboard I don't know if this has scrolling, but I use it for everything else and it's awesome.
