Yep. Not much more to say about it.

I was in mortgage. End of story.

Luckily, I'm making at least a part-time income online. Time to kick it into high gear. The job market sucks anyway so this will be good motivation to get my ass going.
 


Hell yes, work your ass off. I know several people who say that losing their job was the best thing that ever happened to them.
 
Drink heavily for 2 days, doing as you please.

Then, on Thursday, work like you've never worked before. Work for 48 hours straight, running on Mt. Dew and pot. By Monday, you'll be so focused you'll wonder why you didn't make the move sooner.
 
As for the money part, this forum alone has more techniques than you can really use to make cash. You have a head start with your blog, and whatever niche you are into. Just push it hard now.

Yes, for those companies that are still left, the payout is pretty decent for mortgage leads...and AdSense clicks *yawn*.

My ADHD brain is telling me to work on about a million things right now. Time to throw a dart at the board...lol.

Yeah, that's kind of how I felt when my boss called me in. It was all I could do NOT to laugh in his face.

"Good luck with YOUR job, because you'll be gone in three months."

At least I know how affiliate marketing works, even if I'm not crushing it, I can at least make some coin on the side.
 
I know of a lot of people who have been on the receiving end of the bosshammer lately. Things always look darkest before dawn. I agree with bb_wolfe, take a few days off to vacate and clear your head, a few rounds of drunk golf come to mind, then hit it hard and be decisive.

Just make sure you don't let desperation be your guide.

Thanks, amanda. Still awake here on the east coast deciding on what direction to take.

On a side note, I just realized that a mortgage blog I run on the side now has a PR4. I don't post to it nearly as much as I do my internet marketing blog (which has a PR2) and it has a lot fewer links.

I don't know how that happened but it looks like it's time to sell some advertising...lol.

By the way I have to mention this... You being a mortgage broker and running your mortgage traffic through lending tree because they paid more ... priceless. ;)

LOL! I've actually found three or four mortgage affiliate programs since then too. I thought they were all gone but some companies must still be making money.

Man, I am all over that like flies on shit. I'll AIM you after I get back from the emissions test thingy this morning and we'll enjoy some sploggy goodness. Thanks.
