The advertiser is doing it accross all networks because they don't accept "job traffic" suck as pictures of cop cars and stuff with text that says "There are tons of police jobs available. We'll send you all the information for free and you can apply anytime. Earn good money!" which then directs you to a page with a cop in a car on a radio asking educational questions for information on schools etc.

Now the best part is unlike other networks which had the advertisers terms on the page where you grab your link azoogle did not. If azoogle had done this and listed this shit I would have never promoted the offer.

No Incentivized traffic
-No Co-Reg Path Traffic
-No “Job Traffic
-Job Traffic consists of - promotions stating that “we are hiring, “positions available” Etc… if there is mention of a specific career (which is ok) then it must also reference the degree to achieve that position.
-No references to “ training”
- Nothing that says “ see if you qualify” or anything about needing to qualify.
- Any reference to an hourly wage needs to be realistic in the realm of what the career merits
- Certificate time frames are a minimum of 12 months, typical 2-4 years for a degree program… any ads that say something that they can start right away, within a couple of months, etc. are not truthful and prohibited.
- Must talk about receiving a specific degree type… if there is reference to earning money it must mention that the degree to get them the career mentioned is available in their area, etc.
- References to financial aid must indicate that Financial Aid is available
- Cannot say “no obligation”
-Any Reference to “Free” must be referencing Free information about the career & Degree. (Not just the career)
- Must market our degree type specific to the landing page ... traffic coming from a different degree type with not be accepted... (example:
Promoting Nursing for Medical Assisting is NOT valid) -Any promotions found violating these guidelines will not be paid for.
(no exceptions)

Not only that but I really feel sorry for the guy that did a couple thousand and capped out two other networks promoting this companies offers.

Man, if something is not specifically forbiden (with all the shit that always is), and it gets charged back, thats just bullshit.

I think azoogle should take the bite on this one. Especially if they *forgot* to put it in their terms for promoting the offer.

Where did you get the terms you posted?

apparently I'm playing dumb, and just because the terms weren't listed I should know better then to send "job related" traffic to an edu offer. But hmm let me ask you this, doesn't people usually get an education to get a job, if you don't go to school to get a job what do you go to school for?

My ads, umm I don't see anything wrong.

Bored with nothing to do?
Apply here for information on going to college, I know your student loans you'll never be able to pay back in 20 years but you'll be a cop and get to carry a gun. Oh and they don't accept fatties so try to keep the freshman 15 off.

From another network who sent me the terms when i told them to look for other offers like it that paid more. That other network found 4 other offers for me with higher payouts and told me the terms upfront.

i lold

How much volume are we talking getting charged back?

From things actually backing out - given that LAPD advertises for positions on the radio and since this is an education offer I think the following is much more appropriate.

Become a Police Officer
You can quickly get on your way to becoming a cop and furthering your education. Financial aid may be available. Great jobs upon completion - up to $60k/year!

I think this is much more truthful, it sells the person into finding info about EDU, NOT thinking they're simply requesting a job application for those looking for immediate work.

I know this advertiser well, hes a buddy of mine and they were FUCKED over with all the shitty traffic that was sent. With this kind of offer you cannot say hiring or anything of the sort. You dont want to make it seem like they can get a job, this is for education not job traffic.

your joking right?

We Are Hiring - No they aren't, the advertiser is a fucking school

It only takes a few months of training - No it doesnt it takes a couple of years. Its a college degree

I have no problem with deceptive ads, but if you cant realize those ads are deceptive you are an idiot. You don't even mention your going to need an education. You lead the consumer to believe all they need to do is get some information.

Guys: YOU MUST KEEP IN MIND.....will it back out for the advertiser?

That all being said its bullshit your getting leads charged back and I feel for you. If there were no terms against doing this type of stuff you shouldnt be charged back.

Shit really mj? See the thing that pissed me off is the fact that they didn't list the terms on the offer page and thats what I'm pissed off the most for.

word

Of course the ad is deceptive, but that does not matter. He wasn't told what types of ads were and were not allowed beforehand. You can't tell a publisher after the fact that they should've been following rule X (which was never mentioned before) and that you are going to charge back leads because of it.

What's even funnier is that I still see the "We are Hiring"... "Govt is hiring/is in need of police officers" ads running all over facebook thru a few other networks... and even one pub who's running direct with the advertiser. Guess what that means...? MORE CHARGEBACKS!
