So Just How Shitty Are Grant Offers?

Government grants are always earmarked. You might - MIGHT - be able to get $10,000 to install an energy efficient something in your house. But if you use that $10K on hookers and blow and the government finds out about it (and they will) you're going to PMITA prison.
 
There is a really knowledgeable guy on tv that can get you a book full of free ways to get govt grants.

Those other sites are junk...lesko is the key. I'm actually amazed sometimes that people will pay for free data and directories, but then again..their stupidity is not my problem.

Just because information is free doesn't mean it's stupid for people to pay money for the time it took others too go do the legwork and put all that information in one place for you. It's actually smart when your time is worth more than the chump change you pay for that info.

I just meant the grant offers with recurring charges and the people that take part hoping to get a 'free' $10k. I'm not going to complain too much about that because they put money in my pocket too.

And you've made a good point.

Well rebills are a whole different ball game. You brought up lesko and that's what I was talking about.

But yeah, if you're going to rebill people, at least keep the info up to fucking date. Grants come and go all the time. They just pulled solar panelling rebates here a couple days ago, for instance, but I'm still seeing ads with "Get free solar panels now!" on Google... Be funny if they link up to one of the US site back ends, and by funny, I mean a real fucking pain in the arse for the person that bought into it.
 
yah, it's interesting to get a glimpse of that. i don't think it's half bad honestly. yah, it's free, but it could be a lot worse. buyer beware, exactly. i may wack that site and save the info for a "project" - lol. wonder if that's been done before? :)

i'd be curious to see how this info varies from offer to offer.
