So.......whats should I do? (email marketing)

Hey Guys,

Looking to get some input and advice if possible on this. I have a decent size opt in list of 15,000 - 16,000 verified addresses that are interested in "online dating".

The problem is that I have not very much experience on email marketing with the dating niche... so before I waste and email all my opt ins with useless emails I wanted to see what you guys would advice me since I have very little experience with email marketing.

List size: 15,600+ email subscribers
Gender: 100% Male
Country: USA & Canada
Niche: Dating
Age: 25-50

The list its pretty fresh, only a couple of months since they opted into my list.

I have never emailed them at all. The only email they have received from my is the confirmation email from my Aweber account. Other than that they are virgin fresh emails.

I know is not a huge list but I think that with 15,000+ optins I should be able to pull some numbers.

Should I email them with links to join other dating sites? Or should I first try to gain their confidence and email them with some dating tips and stuff and then bomb them with dating offers?

Or whats offers would you promote to them? I suck at email marketing (experience from the past) so I don't want to burn this list and I think I'll be better of asking some advice here before I do something stupid with my list.

Hhahahah Brilliant.

If they already opted in for a online dating emailing, then they most likely are aware of online dating sites if not already signed up. Hit them with tips on dating or flower/buy a star type offers. That's what I would do.

According to your description that's not fresh at all. Chances are a lot of those guys won't remember you or how they got on that list. You have to warm them up a little.

Send them a short message that (re)-introduces who you are and remind them how they got on your list. Then send them (or send them to) something of value. Then, send them a few more valuable Emails to warm them up a little more. After that, start sprinkling in offers mixed w/ good content.
 
Mail them everything. Anything that appeals to males. Flowers are good right now. Auto insurance, Male diet, bizopp.... the list goes on. If you need help let me know.
