I am about to roll out a slew of press releases through PRweb for a one of my companies. We plan on posting a copy of each press release in the "news and announcement" sections on the company website (our "news and announcement" sections are just Joomla blog pages).

My questions is which version of the press release should I link to when placing social bookmarks? The one published one the PRweb.com website, the one in the "news and announcement" sections of my website, or should I see if someone else picks it up (yahoo news for example) and social bookmark that copy?

Thanks for your help WF!

I think it depends on the content of the social bookmarks and the content of the articles. I am leaning towards your website because it directs link to the heart of your website and what you are trying to do. With yahoo news, you never know if someone would visit your site or not. I think you should test it out and wait for the results.

Fuck that.

Hit the main site with some quality links.
Spam the fuck out of PRWEB.com

Wait to see where your press release pops up and spam the fuck out of those sites as well.

If your posting a 1:1copy of the press release on your site give PRWEB a citation.

This right here. Continue to spam the fuck out of the sites as well. Turn those PR's into mini pumpers!
