lol, JK. They're fucked. But this tune makes me happy anyway.

Sorry to put a bummer on things, but has anyone here lost a parent? 25 and my old man is on his last legs... Any advice? Shit is kind of grim.

Drunk as fuck - hence no type filter - not to mention cheaper than counselling given mental health stuff is pretty spartan on the NHS.. (God bless it.)

Nice one brutha x

Pancreatic cancer here too pal. Sooo quick but yet still horrifically shitty. He's been diagnosed for a few months yet his liver has already started to fail (just) hence this self indulgent post.

I do hope I can do him proud. Had the pleasure to at least know him and work with him for the last few years. Which is more than can be said for some. Shame nobody of my generation has half the skills he has. (Hardware man.)

Bleugh.

Sorry for what you’re going through, I lost my dad when I was 26 to cancer as well. Definitely not easy even after 6 and a half years. Definitely changed my perspective on a lot of things though, mostly for the better.

Hang in there man. Yep it sucks. My mom passed when I was 17 from Hodgkin's lymphoma. Spent the last 2 months of HS basically living in the hospital. Just soak in all you can with the time you have left, cherish the small things. I know it sounds cliche but it matters.

I'm 22 and my mom passed away about two months ago after being in the hospital for about six months. She had a rare disease called Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) and the doctors basically fucked up hardcore. Anyway, I had the chance to just live at the hospital, drop school, and be there for her all the time. Cherish the little things, and tell him how much you love him and all. Ask him any questions you never had a chance to ask.

It gets better bro. PM if you ever wanna talk.
