As the title says. Someone copied my landing page to the "T" and submited to that netscape.com...I got almost 300 hits until they changed the links.

I worked hard getting that page where I wanted and writting all the BS out of my own noggin. :(

Grrr...flattered though mine was picked. :p

Ive always thought that if you were gonna copy someones shit, you shouldnt put it online until you change the links and pics, that way there is nothing pointing back to the original page...

Sucks you got your shit copied... Wait for them to make something unique, and copy it back... Eventually, you'll have 2 identical websites. haha
 
LOL nm they did change the links but neglected to remove my tracking code from the pages.
 
Wow...this has to be the best thing that has happen thus far.

Due to this person not removing my tracking code on the pages I was able to get a lot of good infomation that has opened me up to new ways of promoting my pages.

They went as far as rewording everything on the landing page but kept everything else in tacked.

I just wish I could find a way to contact them 'cause I have some questions. :p
 
Shut him down

I may be new here but I think this idea might work. There are a ton of posts about somebody getting their adwords account closed due to click fraud.

Does the site he stole from you have adwords or ppc ads on it? If so:

1. Find out exactly how these people are getting their accounts closed due to click fraud.
2. Access his site and do it to him. Also mess with his other advertising too (multiple fake leads, whatever)
3. Get his accounts closed due to fraud.
4. Laugh untill milk shoots out of your nose

I know that this is a pretty bad thing to do to somebody, I'm not even a black hat guy. Sorry if this post is malicious, I feel kind of crappy already.
