someone ripped off my lp, prosper code still intact

dear friends,

some asshole ripped off my lp with my prosper code in it messing up my stats.

how can i block it?

or better still - how can i redirect that douche to makemoniesonline.com?
 


ask someone fluent with php (nickycakes?)

There's a way to have it so that if it's coming from the root domain, you can fuck with it.
Again, I'm not fluent in php, but I once had someone do just that for me.
 
same thing happened to me on POF a few weeks ago... the lazy ass bastard ripped my lander 100% and threw it up on a domain name similar to mine.

Then he ripped my campaign and started running on POF too - screwed up my stats 'till I got the morons' ass banned.
 
The sad part is, after we do all the work split testing creating lps, creatives and shit. Are ad fails and the idiots that copy them usually do better :[
 
I'll just deny/block the ip address in the CPanel. Hope it'll work for now until I get the idiot banned. If you have a better solution, I'm all ears.
 
sure man here's a more devious solution. add the following line of code to the top of 'tracking202/static/landing.php' in prosper202:

you'll need to replace #### with the lpip of your landing page (its at the bottom of the html in the line of js prosper made you add).

i've had it happen to me acouple of times now and both times i've redirected the traffic back to my lander and given the leads to charity, no point getting someone's account banned even if they are a retard. karma and shit.

Recreate a new lp in prosper (with same domain of course) and update your lp with new tracking code.

Next comes to the interesting part. Modify your prosper js to redirect to your offer or lp if old lp ip is passed. Free traffic = $$. if got conversion, study their traffic sources. As long as the traffic are not from craigslist, etc .. should be fine.
 
I used to have the javasript add to the top but I lost it. You need to do a redirect by referrer but in a certain way.

I have about 30 people I need to redirect atm, removed the code didn't realize i still had so many rippers.

why even fuck with him. just steal the traffic instead. even better would be to somehow integrate some rotater script so you only steal most of his traffic. if you steal it all he may discover something up and fix it
 
try using this in the future: HTML Encrypter

use that, if they're a n00b they won't know wtf to do

I actually spent almost a month setting up a campaign and it was ripped the day after i released it, copy and all. really frustrating but thats the name of the game
 
Plenty of ways for you to go in this thread.

Another easy way to go would be to use a JS include on your page. This can be an empty file so you can add redirect code if/when you need to.

To make it harder to find, you can also have the JS file as a file which actually contains a few functions which run on your page. Within this legit file you can add the redirect code when you need to.

This will make it harder for the ripper to find the redirect code.
 
Same thing happened to me recently. The douche finally changed the Prosper link but it f'd up my stats quite a bit. He was running it through C2M and I was gonna out him but I didn't even bother. As someone already said. Welcome to AM!

He didn't even bother to change my copyright statement! What a lazy bastard.
