Just a reminder, the judiciary committee is expected to vote on SOPA tomorrow. It's expected to pass committee. However, it does hurt to try and get it killed now.

Call the judiciary committee switchboard at 202-225-3951

If you haven't called your rep already, definitely do so. But more importantly, if your rep is on the judiciary committee, call TODAY.
 


yeh, I've been emailing, but this was the first call. My rep is actually on the committee so it was kind of an interesting call. The guy that answered the phone wouldn't give me her position, but said basically she was waiting to see what amendments were added. She's pretty much voted yea for every bad piece of legislation that's been handed to her though, so I don't have much faith in her.
 
I've been seeing commercials on tv supporting it, this is getting pushed hard. I'm sure the mainstream media either ignored it or had 'experts' come on and support it, it's hopeless. They are telling everyone that passing sopa is good for the job market... give me a fucking break.
