Sound Quit in Chrome Browser

anyone else have the sound just quit working in Chrome? I re-installed Flash and Chrome but shit still is not working.

This is the third tech help thread in a row where the OP never says what OS he's on.

It's kind of important info for nearly all problems fellas

No Sound in Google Chrome - FIX - Google Chrome Help

Many are having an issue with sound in Google Chrome and only Google Chrome. I have found a solution that worked for me after all other suggestions didn't work. This is for Windows 7. May apply for other versions.

** If you are not comfortable fixing Windows, have someone you trust do this for you. **

-- Press Windows Key + R, type in DEVMGMT.MSC and click [Ok], expand [Sound, video and game controllers], right click on your sound card, select [Uninstall], and say yes to the reboot. After the reboot, Windows should detect and install the card, or ask you to supply the driver. Once installed, Google Chrome should work.
