I was doing some research for a client who runs a pair of local spas. While scoping out competition, I saw the logo for SpaBoom a couple of times, and out of curiosity checked the site out. It is a really well put-together service, an online marketing/fulfillment deal for local spas who want to offer online deals, gift certificates, who need their site optimised for search etc. The whole site is worth copying down, having spa references stripped out, then generated into a dozen different sites serving niches that tend to be offline by nature, and not run by web-savvy types. Spyfu and Compete have pretty nice things to say about how SpaBoom is doing relative to its niche and competition -- not really my own cup of tea, but if you are looking at developing a b2b site for a given niche you could do a lot worse than look at SpaBoom's example of how they are serving their highly specialised clientele.
