Speed PPC vs. Free Alternatives

I was reading this thread on a free Speed PPC alternative.
I was wondering if anyone who has actually used an up to date version of speed ppc could tell me their thoughts on it. (is SpeedPPC better, why, etc)

I'm considering purchasing it but don't want to kick out the money if there's little advantage to be had.
 


SpeedPPC is pretty good yes, although I personally use Derek's version from a while back.

If you haven't used any of these tools before, you will notice the advantage of having them. It becomes much more efficient to set up new campaigns and you can produce way more targeted ads etc. Of course, you still gotta use your brain and plan out things but that's part of the game anyway.

I like speed ppc and I got the beta that has yahoo uploads on it the other week and there are still some issues but it still does as advertised.

If you are going to buy it I would wait about a week because the new version is going to be released sometime this week. There is supposed to be some new shit on there but not sure what it is.

i use efficient PPC, it's like Speed PPC, but $100 less. It's pretty good at making HUUGE longtail campaigns and VERY targeted ads. PM me if you want more details or have specific questions...

It's not a better value. Cause it costs you $100 less, but charges you a monthly fee.

The Specs list there is for the new version (version 3) which I think is coming out soon (in a week) and will be $100 less for that first week.

Not if you buy the unlimited version. It's $347 for unlimited use. Plus i found a $20 off coupon (use code "SECRET")

So $327 forever.

SpeedPPC is $497....
 
Shit, I should just write my own ad parser and sell it. I can't belive this stuff is really selling for that much and people are buying it...

Exactly. Neither SpeedPPC nor EfficientPPC are worth the price in my opinion. A good programmer could develop something that is server based and uses API's and crush both of these desktop applications easily. If I didn't have 2 million other things to do I would do it myself.
