Noob - question -

Lots of arbi sites (most) will have what appear to be google ads but contain no "ads by google" on them.

Instead they will say - top 5 sponsored links - or something like.

are these just ads from other engines?

btw - I'm up to a .12 to .82 ratio on my first site - $1.00 here we come! I must say it's been really cool thinking of ways to make money after all the inspirational posts on WF.

Yeah, different contextual ad networks.

Congrats on creeping up on a dollar. Is that per day, per site or what?

Do it 100 more times and you can begin to think about retiring. :D

Yeah, there are all types of ad scripts and plugins and search engines who use the same style as google.
 
per site - revenue/costs to date - about a month - i've not idea what i'm doing - just reading everything I can here.

I've got a great technology background - new to this game - hope to leverage my background to get up to speed quickly.
 
It's best if you hovered your mouse over the ads and then right clicked to see the url of the ads. You will then see if it's from Google Adsense or not, if it's not then you will also see what network they may be using.
