No, because I can look at a graph of my income last year, and tell exactly when I bought a really cool game - it takes a dive about 4 weeks afterwards, and doesn't recover until I've gotten bored / finished the game.

That is exactly why I have not played an mmo in 3-4 years. I am hoping I can show a little more self control this time.

Anyway.. I've been playing, level 23 Sith Assassin. The class plays so much like the Rogue from WoW.. so much so it's almost a copy. It's fun but I don't see myself subbing past the first month. I enjoyed the voice acting at first but some of it is too fucking mundane to sit through.
It's pretty much an updated version of WoW in space.

Tempting but MMO's usually take way too much time before I get bored of them unlike regular games... And I end up wasting so much time in lame tasks (pointless traveling, pointless waiting) but for some reason still do it in the false sense of accomplishment of online worlds

Ditto. I once tried Ragnarok Online and didn't stop until I had 3 characters with levels 70-90.. Almost got my electricity cut off because I didn't earn a single dollar for some 2 months. Luckily I managed to sell the account for a couple of hundreds..
