starcraft 2 announced!

I'm a little worried about it though because the old school creators/publishers of the original starcraft were not the ones who created this part two, so they better have kept along the lines of the starcraft empire, kill everything, no holds bars, just an overall kick ass fucking game, I still play starcraft when I'm board and it still kicks ass, look how long its been around for, now that is a hit game.
As for the marketing end of it, well I don't know, might have to look into it.

yeah the announcement was great and all but knowing blizzard it wont be coming out until probably 2015

Yeah, I tend to agree with these guys. Just because Blizzard announced it doesn't mean it's going to be ready anytime in the near future. Although, when it does launch you can bet your ass I'm gonna be playin it.
My little bro made some pretty serious money selling WOW stuff, so when Starcraft 2 launches, I'm sure there are people just like him already set to monetize it.

I almost got a boner when i heard the news. I used to be huge into starcraft, warcraft and the such. The little figurine on their site is set to release october 2007, but you guys are probably right, real release being around 2015.

I am not playing sc for about 4 years now, concentrating on other stuff.
Now that the starcraft 2 is coming out, fuck that I am playing pc games once again!

I took a look at the site and the movie on it is pretty cool. Great CGI. But the screen shots of the game makes it look like the graphics aren't all that. Too busy or something, I dunno. Like a bunch of ants crawling around on the screen. How in God's name would you be able to tell what's going on?
Not to mention, after a long day of working online, the last thing I want to do is sit in front of the computer and play games. How in the hell can you guys do that? Or do you just not work as long of hours as I do? (Generally 10 to 12 a day)
