I've decided to start out with PPC .

I plan to post updates on this about what I'm doing and how I'm doing it.

So, whatever is being done by me will be under constant review by you guys.

so here are my steps that I plan to implement initially.

1> Get a Domain & Hosting (Did these steps)
2> Follow steps from http://www.wickedfire.com/affiliate-marketing/8902-enough-bullshit-lets-make-some-fucking-money.html
3> Start PPC
3a> Adwords :- target long term keywords.
create a seperate adgroup for each keyword.
Make Adwords beleive that it is a content site by linking to it from other sites.
Let the campaign for around 5 days so that the CTR increases and the QS increases.

3b> Target Facebook users after reading Neilsweb.com and nickycakes articles.

4> Decide further strategy



If You think I missed out some steps or have some suggestions/tips/tricks .... Please do respond to this thread.
 


Good start. Most important thing you did was --- you did something.

@Dustin - Forgot to mention it earlier. I will be using tracking202 for tracking. Finished watching their videos and now can work around the tracking202 interface. Thanks for pointing it out.

@savesth3day - I plan to get adword/facebook vouchers and direct traffic to a poll kind of landing page with an email/zip submit. They must be earning pennys, but I guess the keywords bid does not cost a lot, so they are a low cost way to get some experience in PPC.

Update :- I designed the LP and some other members from the #cakes IRC checked it out and gave me some good tips about how to improve/split test it.
Am scouring for Vouchers now.
