So I had a site killed by penguin update and I've decided to start over. Is it ok to put the new site on the same nameservers as the old one or is that a footprint? Also is it ok to use the same analytics account and adsense as long as the 2 sites aren't linked together? the old site still makes a little change and I'd like to keep it up as long as it pays for itself.

Shut it down, repair bad content, repair old SEO crap that doesn't work, slap a new skin on it, and go. Redirect the site if you want money now but willing to risk a penalty within a month or just keep it down and rebuild (a-la-starting-over).
Some have had redirects stay good and no penalty. Others, saw good money for a month and a new penalty.
