So I sent this chick an email about a washer/dryer she was selling on Craigslist, and I got this as a response. Pretty funny way to generate PVAs.

Hi. The washer and dryer I am giving away both work fine and are in good condition. I need to get rid of them by this coming weekend at the latest (I don't have room in the UHaul for them). You'll need to come get them if you want them.
However I ended up getting about 20 emails for the washer & dryer I am giving away, so I'm going to try and give everyone who has emailed so far a chance at this. I actually work for CraigsList and we have a phone code system which I can use for this. If you are still interested, here is how it will work.
Reply to this email and leave me a phone number (with area code) that you can be reached at. Let me know if you would rather get text message or a phone call. Shortly afterwards you will get a text message or an automated phone call from CraigsList which will give you a 4 or 5 digit code.
After you get it, immediately email me back with the code they gave you and your full phone number again. (Your code needs to be checked within 20 minutes after you get it or it expires and can not be used.)
I'll check everyone's codes and the person who received the correct one will be declared the winner. I'll email them and set up a time that they can come pick up the washer and dryer.
PS: When you get the automated call or text message, it'll say not to give your code out to anyone because of scams, etc. Simply disregard that message for this. That's meant to help protect someone's account info when they sign up for a free Craigslist account. Here we are just using the system to generate codes for this giveaway, and not actually signing up for an account.
PS: You can try to get the winning code as many times as you want. However you have to use a different phone number each time in order to get an additional code. It's just the way our phone system is set up.
Washer Info: Used 3.5 Cu. Ft. Washer / 120V / 27 in x 42 in x 25 1/2 in
Dryer Info: Used 6.0 Cu. Ft. Dryer / 240V / 27 in x 42 in x 25 1/2 in
