there should really be an IQ minimum for a CC company to accept a consumer charge back. We'd all be a lot richer and morons like these would weed themselves out of my society.
 
A friend of mine knows a midwife who does shifts as a health visitor in the UK, looking in on new babies at home when they are born. It's compulsory.

I thought "WTF - nanny state or what - why do you need some midwife to come poking around?" But apparently she went to see someone recently who was feeding her baby epsom salts on a regular basis, because her mother told her to. Another few days and she'd have managed to poison the thing.

People really are that stupid.
