As you all know, im having MAJOR trouble getting my non www. to redirect to my www. and as i don't want to start shitty, im thinking of switching to linux, just because its actually fucking possible to redirect it.

So A) will godaddy change it? or will i have to cancel, and then start a new hosting package?

B) Will it make any difference to anything? i mean everythings in html, so not using anything specific to windows.

Suggestion, yes. Switch to Linux. It can be safer, cheaper and more reliable than Windows hosting.

a. I can't answer... never used GoDaddy.
b. The only difference I can warn you about is that everything on Linux is case sensitive. File.html and fiLe.html are different files under Linux. Make sure your links are written correctly.

Hope this helps.

As long as you don't have any ASP.NET pages you aren't aware of (control panel, intermediary redirect links with .aspx extensions, etc..) it doesn't matter.
