Bah humbug I say! What do you know, half the clients who came to me this month promised work for NEXT month, so I'm down again for this month and need to hustle.

This month's deficit is $900.

Here's my portfolio:
http://sicret.net

I've discounted my services to what amounts to $50/hr, down from $70, but I prefer to work on a per-project basis.

I work fast. Turnaround for a full layout is typically within 5-8 hours of making the deal.

I like to work 1-to-1 with you. This cuts the extremely flawed practice of providing limited revisions and makes the design evolve to exactly what you want, rather than trying to fit all your needs into three revisions.

I'm professional. You don't have to worry about flakiness or lack of quality. I'm here from start to finish with more than 100% of my effort and attention. That's the beauty of my process; we get it all done fast, so everyone leaves the deal more than happy without having to wait for anything.

I design anything. Well, mostly. I am capable to design anything, but I will not design a landing page for the competitive rates you see here on WF. I will, however, work on creating a re-brandable LP template that lasts more than one gig.

Here's my portfolio again in case you missed it:

...and how to contact me:

WF is a great resource for me and many of you have come to love my services and the speed at which I deliver. Hopefully we can keep this tradition going. :)

Oh, and bah humbug! :xmas-smiley-016:

Man, you do quality work, but even $50/hour is pretty steep. Consider is you were working for a week on a website, that could end up at $1500 ( 6 days a week, 5 hours a day).

Still, I'm loving your work and you should be glad of a thread bump.

I think you missed the part about working very fast. My past clients can attest to this if they feel like chiming in on this thread. Plus, as I stated, I work in lump sums rather than by the hour, which is a more fair practice for both parties involved.

Thanks a million for the kind words. :)

Cool, yeah I reread your post I see what your getting at.

If I were you, I would make some quality blogs and sites, buy some content and sell 'em, if your designs are good enough they would sell well.

BTW: "I run companies" if the most pretentious fucking phrase ever

Because WF is known for its extreme humility. ;)

I'd say it's direct more so than pretentious. My design portfolio also says 'I design stuff'. It's just saying more with less. :)

That's a good idea. I'll test the waters and see what sort of results I can get once I get my bills covered. Thanks!

I'm willing to design website layouts for $400, LP's for $75, logos for $200, and any other specialty needs for heavy discounts. Time's crunching and this rent won't pay itself. :(

Nice work... but look around a bit.
Many designers on WF who have designs just as nice as yours, work for much less.

Don't take any offend in it, this is just simple demand&supply.

Honestly $1500 is low for some websites. It really depends on your project and project scope. Steve does great work and I wouldn't worry about him dicking around to charge more. :xmas-smiley-016:
