Taking my 2 sons on Friday evening. Been waiting and am stoked. I have to say though I was pumped about Wolverine with the kids and it was disappointing. Since there are supposed to be 3 of these (I think) I am curious on how they will introduce the T-800 because the guy in preview, I dont really know.

I love the Terminator series, but McG at the helm absolutely kills my motivation.

Frankly, I'm not a big fan of the writers either. But, I'm anxious to see your reviews (sans spoilers) in this thread.

James Cameron's T2 set the bar way too high.

Nonetheless, I'm excited to see what this one has to offer. I decided to skip the midnight show tonight and just watch it casually over the weekend. Many of the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes have got me weary.

hopefully they didn't fuck it up like T3

as IronLogik said, i don't expect any terminator movie to be as good as T2

Ahh hell.... When I heard McG was involved I thought, great, this is going to suck. And then I saw the trailers and I though, wait, maybe this is going to be badass. And now the RT reviews have slapped me back down to earth.

Why does every movie have to suck?

Star Trek was real good, im a huge fan of TNG, and i thought i was going to hate it, one of the few movies that blew me away despite my original thoughts

looking forward to T:S, though i've pretty much come to the conclusion that its not gonna be anywhere near the plot of t2, between the whole Dyson plot, etc.

Rotten Tomatoes gave it pretty bad reviews. But then again XMen Wolv got bad reviews also yet I thought it was badass. Maybe I'm just easily entertained?

Yeah, I get this too. I don't care much about character development or the juxtaposition of x and y. I just wanna be entertained.

movie doesn't know how to end, doesn't know how to create real suspense, kind of just watch it unfold, starts out strong, but fades. trailer is awesome in comparison to movie. even the emotion of lines like "if we stay the course we are all dead!" that are powerful in the trailer seem like they are just dialog in the movie. not impressed. it was visually interesting and there are it is exciting at times, but really was hoping for a more solid offering.
