I guess now is a good time to try & do something good with this domain & make some cash, anybody got any good ideas on how to monetize this whilst the world goes into financial meltdown & everybody slowly starves to a slow painful death ? :rasta:

PS: If anyone does see an opp with this domain Im willing to partner on it as my 100% lack of developement skills seriously inhibits me !

Develop a real-time world clock and rotate travel advertisements?

maybe a webapp where the user can compare the loading speeds of different websites.

output data like amount of data processed, scripts parsed, file size, etc.

open opportunity to display results from different pages for comparison. load time for a single website is arbitrary since it depends on the webapp's connection access which is why a comparison would be more relevant.

Something to do with timed tests in academia. (LSAT, SAT, ...ect) And then moniteze with the online university offers.

What turbolapp said.

All those "academic aptitude" tests the Americans are so fond of.
What are they, how can I prepare, etc...

Also monetize via preparation books.

Hmm I was always thinking along the credit crunch line, free offers etc but everyone so far has been thinking along the test / time lines, Il take a look at the ideas posted.

Cheers.

I read it as scary times, a time that will test the leadership of our country. As we are in testing times with the current economy.

Im guessing your seeing more longevity going down the test route as opposed to the free offer route (current econmic climate etc) ?

The current economic issues can only last so long... School tests will last as long as there isn't rioting in the streets.

I can't remember now, but someone here has their highschool student resources site.
They might have a few good ideas.
I think you could do nicely with Turbo's idea, but add in a few other things that are directly purchasable goods, like graphics calculators, study aids, etc.

Cool cheers for the help guys, I'l take a look at the market & see what I can come up with !
