I agree its total BS ... I would expect this out in the country where I am from but not in the middle of one of the largest cities in the country.

This does suck. But it is interesting. I live in a nice neighborhood and am a middle aged white guy with a wife and kids who is a "website owner".

A few of my neighbors were convinced I was a drug dealer or doing something illegal since I did not leave for work everyday...

Breaking the mold of suburbia confuses the heck out of the Jones, white or black.

i agree with this..

it's fucked up, but if i was living in the neighborhood i'd probably think something similar.

for instance, in my hometown there are not really any FILTHY rich people. Some ppl have a 5 series and a benz SUV, but everyone knows what they do...

One time this younger guy and his GF moved in and he was rocking a bentley continental GT, living in probably a 170k house in one of the nicer neighborhoods. No one knew what he did, but if i asked my friends i'd get the usualy "slingin rocks" etc etc...

Haha and i'd believe it too, however, i've added another logical decision to the equation, and that is he could be a "website owner"

so drug dealer and "Website Owners" can be grouped very similarly IMO haha

The vast majority of people are fucking retarded. They become jealous over what they can't have and angry over what they don't understand. Break the mold a little bit and people lose it. It's part of life.

thats mess up , i would shoot them , if i see someone in front of my house gate and i dont know ya well if you get closer i wil shoot you, he should do the same

yeah, if it is all true. really hard to believe the story is so one sided - but then I grew up in CA where I imagine it is much more liberal than TX. But still hard to believe this is true given the litigious and politically correct society we live in.

I have lived in TX my whole life and I can promise you this story is not that far out of the norm for TX.

Your kidding right? There is still a KKK. There is still a good old boy "all white" club as well.

KKK is normally uneducated and rural. Not mainstream and not normally found in what was called one of Houston's most exclusive neighborhoods.

Maybe it is all true and the Houston folk are a bunch of racists - or maybe there is something else to the story.

I still find it hard to believe - when you find racism amongst the upper crust (I know this is relative when talking only $400K-$1M houses) it is normally much more subtle than what is purported in the video.

Am I the only one who noticed the black reporter at the end is the same guy who ate the bug in that YouTube video that went viral?

definately same guy...Isaiah Carey lol

Royal Oaks = trashy version of River Oaks. Royal Oaks is for Ed Hardy wearing millionaires. They couldn't even buy a toolshed in River Oaks.
