From this point on, Alice in Wonderland (by Tim Burton) never happened. If I want an Alice sequel I'll read Through the Looking-Glass or play some American McGee's Alice. Burton's version was complete crap.
 


Most disjointed piece of shit ever. It was like they filmed a 100 different scenes randomly and paste them together with the slogan of "oh, what a coincidence!"

Exactly. It's like they had 50 people throw in ideas for the script and pulled each out on a day of shooting. At no point did I care about any of the characters or the "plot".
 
I think he totally ruined Charlie & The Chocolate Factory.. won't bother taking the kids to see this one. Actually, the commercials scared the hell out of them. They begged me NOT to take them to see it.
 
i liked it.

i mean, granted, i don't have a degree in sitting on my ass and judging other people's art, and i wasn't really hoping tim burton would personally give me a handjob for buying two tickets to this, but assuming that i'm just some asshole who was looking for a modern rendition of a children's movie to distract my mind from a long day's work, yeah, it was everything i paid for.

Think the movie focused more on the visual effects and the madness of Tim Burton rather than substance.
 
Tried to take the Hook Route with Peter Pan... Didn't work. Love Hook! This movie wasn't that bad, Depp did a good mad hatter, but The Chesire Cat wasn't the Good, and chesire cat is one of the classics. This movie has been remade way too much, so it didn't bother me that he butchered yet another classic.
 
Ha, I applaud you if you made it though more than the first 15 minutes of Tim Burton's version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. That movie was so fucking bad it was unreal.

I haven't seen his version of Alice in Wonderland, nor do I ever plan to. Him ruining one childhood classic is more than enough for me.

Finnaly I'd like to give a big "FUCK YOU" out to Johnny Depp who keeps playing this utterly retarded rolls.

I was entertained by it. If you don't like it, remake it on your own dime or STFU and don't watch it again. No one owes anyone anything.

personally, if it were me, i'd avoid digging up someone's 9 month old post to support a stance i haven't otherwise tried to support [at all!], for fear of looking like a moron.
