That depends on what you mean by anonymous. Many sites will know you from the
cookies, so you could just delete all cookies after each session, but they still know
your during that session. If you just mean hide your real IP, then the web proxies
would work fine. Just remember, never trust a proxy with sensitive information.
You could also install your own private web proxy: there is one in perl nph-proxy.cgi
and a few written in php. Put it on your own hosting account and don't tell anyone
so only you use it.

It depends on what you want to do. If I just want to hide my real name, address etc., I register with different names and have private registration in my websites, and also host my websites in different server.
If you plan to do some thing else than this, you must use proxy server. But again any way an expert like cyber can find you. So bea careful in what you do

hai, hide my ass still working good for latest firefox version. Always delete your cookies before browsing. I always checked my ip details at Ip-Details.com Find your IP address Information for monitoring proxy server. Because results should be shows proxy server ip address, if proxy server working corectly....:thumbsup:
